Elderton Winery
Elderton Wines is a small, family owned and operated winery, situated in the heart of the Barossa Valley. The Elderton vineyard which was planted in 1904 by Samuel Elderton Tolley, was purchased by the Ashmead family in the late 1970's and started producing labelled bottled estate wine from the 1982 harvest.
"+ "It was well after a decade of hard work and toil that the winery shot to prominence in the early 1990's, after winning the prestigious Jimmy Watson Trophy at the 1993 Melbourne Wine Show. There has been an amazing amount of further wine show success including the World’s Best Shiraz Trophy at the 2000 London International Wine & Spirits Competition. Elderton has also enjoyed being the darling of the worlds wine press, with great endorsements given by James Halliday, Robert Parker, The Wine Spectator Magazine as well as countless others. Furthermore, in 2005, Elderton was named in the Top 100 Wineries in the World by Wine & Spirit Magazine.

Each block on the property is cherished but the two standouts are the 104-year-old Command Shiraz block and the 64-year-old Ashmead Cabernet Sauvignon block.

Castello D'Albola
The Chianti region of Tuscany is a vast region of rolling hills set in the countryside of central Italy. Eight zones divide this region, each with a unique terrior.
"+ "The estate of Castello d'Albola is situated in the Chianti Classico area in the province of Siena, Tuscany. The vineyards are situated at an average altitude of 500 metres (1,300 feet) above sea level, although at some points they attain a height of 1,640 feet. The soil consists primarily of the alberese and galestro limestone.
"+ "The wines that the estate produces are the Chianti Classico, the Chianti Classico Riserva, the Ellere, the Acciaiolo, the Chardonnay, the Marangole (100% Pinot Nero) and the Vinsanto. “Those wines, that to me represent the production philosophy of my family and of our real passion for quality, have great personality, rooted in the history of their zone of origin and are capable of expressing the true heart and soul of the territory they come from.” Obtained from grapes selected from the property’s vineyards, are created with the aim of combining tradition and innovation.

It is at the same time one of the most misunderstood and frequently disappointing regions for those who are not initiates to its often confusing maze of Chateaus, appellations, classified growths, and diverging styles.

Bodegas Altanza
Up to 60% of the grapes come from Bodegas Altanza’s 320 ha estate (790 acres approx.). Around two hundred hectares of the total surface are assigned to grape-growing, whereas 70 hectares of the property are planted with olive trees.
