HungerFord Hill
The Hunter Valley is Australia’s oldest wine producing area, with wine made continuously in the region since the 1830’s. However the region languished during the early to mid 20th century until a new generation of wineries was established in the 1960’s and 70’s. One of the most prominent of these was Hungerford Hill, established in 1969, deriving its name from the former grazing property on which the vineyard was planted.

The brand gained a fine reputation for the two varieties the Hunter region does best -Semillon and Shiraz.

Founded in 1880, the Carlo Pellegrino wine house has developed over the years in step with the growth in popularity of Marsala wines worldwide.
